I don’t buy foundation, I do Clear&Brilliant with Haley. I’m a returning client of Dr. Dax and Haley, after moving into Boston and having a nightmare at a shady, unprofessional, and poorly trained med spa on Newbury Street. I’ll take the drive out of the city and back every time, honestly. I only trust Coastal with my skin and aesthetics. The staff are honest, Dr. Dax is patient, kind and talented, and Haley is incredibly skilled at identifying what treatment best suits your skin goals. She is also super awesome. Lisa at the front desk is always a joy and will bend over backwards to get you on the schedule. They have great deals and are totally transparent - I don’t feel scammed, which is a great feeling. And I’m very happy with results. I very much recommend Coastal, just don’t take my appointment.

From the initial consultation to my last follow up appointment, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt completely at ease during my procedure and would highly recommend to anyone looking for these types of services. I'm so happy with my results and only wish I had done it sooner.

Great practice! Very professional, amazing bed side manner! Dr Dax called me after my surgery to check on me and ask if there was anything I needed. The nurse, the receptionist, down the the anesthesiologist were absolutely comforting and knowledgeable. Very pleased with my entire experience.

It seems unnecessary to pile on to all of these stellar reviews. But each one spot on. Dr Dax and his entire staff are the best you can find. Lisa upfront is so kind, caring and a joy to see the minute you walk through the door. This is my third procedure with Dr. Guenther and his staff. I cannot believe the ease with each and every single step to achieve my perfect result. He truly is an artist. The precision with which he is so very gifted with is done in such a modest manner. I feel so very fortunate to have found this practice.

I can’t recommend Dr. Guenther and his team enough! He was so calm, informative, patient and kind. I had a mommy makeover and I felt completely at ease from booking to after care. I highly recommend Dr. Guenther and the entire team at Coastal Plastic Surgery to any and all looking to work with the most professional, knowledgeable and helpful team of people. These procedures can be very personal and private and I always felt my needs were put first, my concerns were solidly addressed and I was in the best care. From my initial consultation to post-surgical care, my treatment was paramount. I would not hesitate to return to Coastal Plastic Surgery if the need should ever arise. They make you feel like family.

I've been a patient at the clinic for over a year now, and have had wonderful experiences with the doctor and all the staff at the clinic. This review is about my experience with Qwo - an injectable used to treat cellulite. I had moderate to severe cellulite in a few areas. I initially went in for a consultation for Cellfina and as Dr. Dax was reviewing my suitability for the treatment, he noticed unrelated scarring on my body. He asked about the scarring and after I explained the history, told me he thought I'd be a better candidate for Qwo, since I would potentially develop scars from Cellfina, given the other scars he had seen on me. Dr. Guenther and his team were fantastic and answered all questions I had about the treatment, and even invited me to ask questions to one of the Qwo reps who was at the clinic on the day of my first course of treatment. I did three treatments in total. In terms of overall discomfort from the injection, it is similar to a Botox pinch. The first areas of injection are more painful and it gets tolerable as the injectable fluid spreads out. I did not need any downtime and scheduled my appointments right before work. The longest part of the healing process for me was the bruising after each treatment. (I definitely recommend talking to the doctor and team about any upcoming vacation or events, if you are worried about showing the bruised areas and they will have excellent suggestions for how much time to realistically plan for.) My bruised areas were lightly sore, but absolutely tolerable. Given my history of bruising and scarring, I was already prepared for a lengthy wait before bruising resolved. The bruising was most intense after the first treatment, and resolved faster with each subsequent treatment. The bruising from the first treatment had just resolved by the time I was ready for my second treatment. The reduction in cellulite has been drastic -- I would say about 70% for me, and I highly recommend the treatment, in combination with healthy eating and a consistent fitness regime. I saw the biggest improvement about two months after my third treatment. Over and above the treatment, the care and compassion that I received throughout takes this clinic a notch up above the rest. I highly recommend a consultation if you're ready to explore options to reduce your cellulite!
